UK Professional Hunter's Tour
Welcome to the homepage of the UK Professional Hunters Tour which took place in gunshops and shooting clubs across the United Kingdom between 28th February and 25th March 2009. This site contains details on the 2009 tour including images taken at the various locations together with information on our Sponsors and details of the winners of our free prize draw! So what is the U.K. Professional Hunter's Tour all about? Well, regardless of whether you are an experienced international hunter or are yet to complete that first trip of a lifetime, the simple fact is that Africa isn't exactly local, so short of getting on a plane and travelling there yourself, how else can you get to find out what it's really like to go hunting in Namibia or South Africa?
That is exactly what the UK Professional Hunters Tour was designed to do - to bring experienced Professional Hunters and Outfitters from different regions of Southern Africa over to the UK where local trophy hunters and shooting enthusiasts can meet them in person and find out more about what hunting in Africa is all about, not to mention trying some traditional Safari cuisine before contributing to the compulsary leg-pulling and story telling associated with such occasions!
In addition, one of the Tour's prime objectives was to dispell some of the myths regarding hunting in Africa, and this includes the perception that all Outfitters operate from UK-sized fenced farms which is clearly not the case, and possibly more importantly, to show just how affordable Trophy Hunting in Africa can be!

Once again The Hunting Agency will be attending the CLA Game Fair and have Professional Hunters and Outfitters from Namibia and South Africa flying in together with representatives of the Croatian Federation of Hunters who will be on-hand to tell you everything you need to know about Boar Hunting!
